Salthill is a seaside area in Galway City. The Salthill resort attracts many thousands of tourists all year round. There is a 2 km long promenade, locally known as the Prom, overlooking Galway Bay with bars, restaurants and hotels. Coolin House is located at the Blackrock end of the Salthill Promenade.
